Part of a large wood with Limekilns Plantation, Willmoor Pool Plantation, and Minton’s Pool Plantation. In the 1917 sale catalogue, it was listed as 18.18 acres in size. Since the sale, all of these plantations have been grubbed up and turned back into fields.
The Pools Plantation was absent from the 1891 Forbes’ survey, at least with that name.
