This plantation does not appear in the 1891 Forbes’ survey of woodlands or contemporary Ordnance Survey maps. However, it does appear in the 1917 Estate sale catalogue as “A young thriving plantation, mostly Larch and Scotch Fir” with an area of 8.12 acres. In the catalogue it was Lot 243 as shown below on the general plan of lots. It was located east of Sheriffhales village, and one field to the south of Hungerhill Plantation (shown in pink) and to the west of Kingstreet Grange farm which was sold separately as Lot 45.
